NLCC utilizes the “CELL & CELEBRATION” model to create safe places designed to cultivate, natural environments for the development of meaningful relationships and the fostering of discipleship.  The cells/small groups direct participants toward worship in the larger corporate gathering, called the “CELEBRATION.” And the “CLEBRATION” serves as a “Taste-N-See” venue that extends the invitation to all seeking an opportunity to grow in faith together through multiple cell venues.

Doing Life Together

Life Groups are one way of living our church in smaller groups.  Each Life Group is a unique blend of people who journey, love, and learn together to become more like Jesus.  The typical size of a Life Group is 2-12 people.  These groups can have many purposes: studying Scripture, praying, discussing current topics, sharing educational and inspirational resources, laughing, playing, eating, resting, offering support and encouragement and working together to serve others.

How do I join?

Possibly the best way to join a Life Group is to form a new one with people who are already in your life and around you.  Consider applying to be a Life Group leader or encourage someone you know to apply -skills and passions like administrating, teaching, facilitateing and showing hospitality are great reasons to lead.  There are also established Life Groups that are open to adding new members. Four Dynamics of Life Groups

  • Reaching Upward to God (Matthew 22:37-38)
  • Reaching Inward to build Body Life (Matthew 22:39)
  • Reaching Outward to the Lost (Matthew 28:19)
  • Moving Forward to Multiply Ministry (Matthew 28:20)
